Renick Performance is the first and only company to work directly with Swift Springs as an exclusive dealer of the Swift “Spec-R” Springs for the Cadillac brand. We have continuously worked in-stride for more than five years with the Swift team, absorbing their advice and expertise while developing the Spec-R Spring. Solely to provide the very best performance springs, for the very best OEM suspension system on the market.
Our SWIFT line of springs have been developed individually for each Alpha Platform, ATS-V, CT4, CT4 V-Series, CT4 Blackwing, CTS, CTS V-Sport, CTS-V, and Gen-6 Camaro.
With the Renick Performance SWIFT Spring Kit you will maintain a smooth, comfortable ride with increased handling by reducing body roll and squat in search of overall suspension balance.
The Renick Performance kit will lower the vehicle (Approx. 20mm Front & Rear) within tolerance of each vehicle's usable stroke and electric controls. The Renick Performance SWIFT Springs are approximately 30% stiffer than OEM springs and approximately 20mm lower both front and rear. The Renick Performance “Spec-R” springs will give you performance, style, and comfort for both the street and the track.
Why did Renick choose to partner with SWIFT? SWIFT has a proprietary material (H5S.TW). This H5S.TW has a much quicker transient response, reacting to any road conditions which, in turn, cause a much smoother ride where other springs will skip on the harsh road surface, our spring will react to the road surface as needed. With MagRide equipped cars SWIFT H5S.TW is a necessity.
Below you will find the difference between the Renick Performance Swift “Spec-R” Springs vs. the Swift “Sport” Springs, so you can decide for yourself which spring will take your driving performance to the next level!
SPEC-R SPRINGS
Built for track duty, Swift Spec-R Springs are designed at the upper limits of the OEM shock valving. Track tested and tuned for optimum performance yet comfortable enough for a daily driver.
Swift Spec-R Sport Springs were engineered with 3 characteristics in mind.
Modified ride height compared to Sport Springs to maximize optimal suspension geometry. Further increasing the spring rate to enhance overall performance. The increase in spring rate is based on the upper limits of the vehicles factory shock valving. Maintaining optimal comfort level for street use.
Swift made Spec-R Springs keeps the quality ride you get from the showroom, and adds improved handling and lower ride height for driving enthusiasts and style minded drivers who demand only the best. From HPDE events to SCCA competition, Swift Spec-R Springs are made for the track enthusiast looking to take their vehicle to the next level.
Spec-R Springs are wound with the same engineering and material as our Sport Springs. With the exception of stiffer rates and slight change in ride height; you can expect the same characteristics.
SPORT SPRINGS
Swift made Sport Springs keeps the quality ride you get from the showroom, and adds improved handling and lower ride height for driving enthusiasts and style minded drivers who demand only the best. Swift did not develop the Sport Springs line by simply dropping the ride height. Unlike other manufacturers whose sole focus was style, Swift approached the creation of these lowering springs with 3 goals.
1. Maintain or improve a smooth, comfortable ride.
2. Increase handling by reducing body roll and squat in search of overall suspension balance.
3. Lower the vehicle within tolerance of each vehicle's usable stroke.
Renick Performance has always and will continue to partner with the best in the aftermarket industry to provide the Cadillac community with the highest quality parts for their vehicles.
Be aware, there is NO need for a calibration rod for the MagRide sensor. If you have any further questions about the MagRide sensor call us at 214-493-0527.
